This recipe is similar to rum balls but with teriffic for fall with a pumpkin theme.

     2-1/2 Cup Vanilla Wafers, crushed
     1 Cup Ground Almonds, toasted
     3/4 Cup Confectioners' Sugar, sifted and divided
     1-1/2 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
     1/4 teaspoon Ground Cardamom
     6 oz Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
     1/2 cup Canned Pumpkin Puree, unsweetened
     1/3 cup Coffee Liqueur, you can substitute coffee if you like

     Instructions
     1.  In medium bowl, blend together the vanilla wafer crumbs, ground almonds, the 1/2 cup 125ml confectioners' sugar, cinnamon, and cardamom.
     2.  Blend in the chocolate chips, pumpkin puree, and coffee liqueur. If using plain black coffee as a substitute, you may need to add a bit more confectionars' sugar.
     3.  Using a teaspoon of the mixture, roll into 1 inch 2.5 cm round balls. Repeat until all the mixture is used.
     4.  Refrigerate the balls until firm, then dust with or roll in the remaining confectioners' sugar just prior to serving.
