  Aunt Lorraine's Fudge Brownies
This recipe came from a 1966 church cookbook. these brownies are so rich and chewy (and easy) that you will never eat them from a box again. I mix up extra batches of the dry ingredients and store them in the freezer until I'm ready to make them.
  Fondant
Fondant is very useful in candy making. If you are unable to find dry fondant to make firm candy filliings or balls, here is a recipe to make your own fondant.
  Home Made Almond Paste
Almond Paste is an ingredient in many holiday recipes cakes, cookies and such. But at the almond paste you buy at the store when you can find it can be costly. If you own a blender or food processor, there is nothing stopping you from making your own almond paste....and the wonderful recipes which call for almond paste. Technically, almond paste is less sweet and slightly coarser than marzipan. Almond Paste can be colored any way you...pink, light green or yellow, or brown cocoa powder.
